We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help advance next-gen operations at scale, utilizing pure Python infrastructure-as-code, from bare metal to containers and applications, with a goal of refining enterprise infrastructure DevOps. This position involves managing hundreds of private cloud, Kubernetes, and application clusters for various customers across both physical and public cloud environments, while striving for excellence in automation through a universal operator pattern and model-driven operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage Python software engineering skills within the operations domain.
  • Practice DevSecOps from bare metal to application architecture.
  • Architect and manage OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage.
  • Enable DevSecOps for applications operating on our infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Experience with Linux including networking and storage.
  • Proficiency in Python software development.
  • Operational experience and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
  • Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for company events lasting up to two weeks.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes deployment or operations.
  • Familiarity with public or private cloud management.
