Responsibilities:
- Maintain services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
- Design and implement highly available and scalable systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish service level objectives (SLOs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop and maintain monitoring tools, alerts, and dashboards for system health visibility.
- Conduct post-incident analyses and implement preventive measures.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes for improved efficiency.
- Create and maintain documentation for system architecture and troubleshooting.
- Manage capacity planning and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with development teams for new feature implementation while ensuring reliability and performance adherence.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in site reliability engineering.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Tertiary-level qualification from an internationally recognized institution.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience demonstrating required competencies.
- Skills: Proficiency in coding languages, monitoring tools, operating systems, and database management.
- Behavioral Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and attention to detail.
