We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to develop next-generation operations at scale, utilizing pure Python infrastructure-as-code, from bare metal to containers and applications. This role involves perfecting enterprise infrastructure devops and managing hundreds of private cloud, Kubernetes, and application clusters for customers across physical and public cloud environments. To succeed, you should view automation as a software engineering challenge, be driven by metrics and code, and demonstrate an eagerness to learn the entire technology stack.

Responsibilities:

  • Bring Python software engineering skills and rigor to operations.
  • Practice devsecops from bare metal to application.
  • Architect and manage OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage while enabling devsecops for applications.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Experience with Linux and familiarity with Linux networking and storage.
  • Expertise in Python software development.
  • Operational experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
  • Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for company events lasting up to two weeks.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes deployment or operations.
  • Familiarity with public or private cloud management.
