We are hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to perfect enterprise infrastructure devops using pure Python infra-as-code, from bare metal to containers and applications. Our cloud operations engineers apply Python software-engineering skills within the operations domain, practicing devsecops from bare metal to application. The role involves architecting and running OpenStack and Kubernetes while enabling devsecops for applications on that infrastructure.
Work Conditions:
- Full-time
- Globally remote role
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events (up to two weeks long)
Key Responsibilities:
- Bring Python software-engineering skills and rigor to cloud operations
- Architect and run OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage
- Enable devsecops for applications running on the infrastructure
- Work in a high-pressure operations environment with mission-critical services
Qualifications:
- Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience with Linux and familiarity with Linux networking and storage
- Expertise in Python software development
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes deployment or operations
- Familiarity with public or private cloud management
