Avrioc Technologies is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with over 8 years of experience in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). The successful candidate will focus on leading SRE practices implementation for enterprise applications and will possess strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure to support production workloads and applications.
- Ensure systems are fault-tolerant, performant, and can handle high-traffic and growing demands.
- Lead incident response efforts, ensuring minimal service disruption and quick resolution of issues.
- Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) to ensure reliability and performance.
- Maintain clear documentation on infrastructure, processes, incidents, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to align on SRE best practices and promote knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a DevOps & SRE professional.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Proven experience in building and managing observability frameworks (monitoring, logging, alerting).
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Familiarity with chaos engineering and fault injection testing using open-source tools.
Additional Information
- The role will involve participation in on-call support, incident review, and writing project documentation.
- Candidates should have experience in conducting fault injection testing with multiple open-source tools.
- Knowledge of AWS managed databases and self-managed databases like MySQL and Cassandra is essential.
- Ability to drive continuous improvements in processes, tools, and systems to enhance service reliability.
