In this role, you will engage in next-gen operations at scale using Python for infrastructure-as-code, serving our extensive private cloud, Kubernetes, and application clusters for customers worldwide. You will be at the forefront of refining enterprise infrastructure DevOps practices, emphasizing automation as a core engineering challenge. Success in this role requires a scientific approach to operations, driven by metrics and code.
Location: Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Remote)
Work Conditions: Full-time, Remote, with the ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events lasting up to two weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Apply Python software engineering skills to the operations domain and practice DevSecOps.
- Architect and manage OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage.
- Enable DevSecOps for applications on our infrastructure.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in open source infrastructure and drive customer upgrades.
Requirements:
- Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience with Linux and familiarity with Linux networking and storage.
- Proficiency in Python software development.
- Strong operational experience and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes deployment or operations.
- Familiarity with public or private cloud management.
