As part of our Security Operations team, you will be responsible for protecting a constantly active, distributed system that processes transactions 24/7, supported by AI and automation at every layer of our security stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively hunt across infrastructure, cloud, identity, and endpoints.
- Build, tune, and maintain detection mechanisms aligned with real attacker TTPs (MITRE ATT&CK).
- Own the end-to-end incident response process: triage, containment, root cause analysis, and reporting.
- Challenge tuning decisions and assumptions that could lead to blind spots.
- Collaborate with the Red Team for purple-team exercises to enhance detection capabilities.
- Extend detection and monitoring coverage into our AI agent stack.
- Perform malware analysis and reverse engineering.
- Mentor junior analysts and help raise the standards of incident triage.
Who You Are:
- 6+ years of experience in a SOC, threat hunting, or DFIR role, with proven incident ownership.
- Preferred certifications: GCFA, GCIH, GCIA, or equivalent in DFIR/detection engineering.
- In-depth knowledge in at least three areas: EDR internals, cloud security (AWS/GCP), network forensics, malware analysis, or SIEM/detection-as-code.
- Proficient in writing detection logic and tooling in Python or query languages.
- Strong analytical skills, with a mindset focused on anticipating attacks.
- Capable of generating actionable reports that lead to concrete fixes.
