About the Job:
Technology Innovation Institute (TII) is a publicly funded research institute based in Abu Dhabi, dedicated to pioneering research and technology. Our team includes a diverse community of leading scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and researchers who work collaboratively to address society's challenges.

We are seeking a curious and passionate software engineer to assist in integrating our cryptographic libraries into real-world applications. Key responsibilities include:

• Completing the integration of cryptographic libraries into applications.
• Conducting functional and performance testing of mid-size applications.
• Documenting developed products.
• Reviewing and evaluating the code quality of team contributors.
• Collaborating with continuous integration environments and automated tests.
• Writing automated security validations of code following best practices using a variety of tools.

Necessary Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of programming experience with Java/Kotlin.
• Proficient with Git and GitLab work environments, and capable of maintaining good/git practices.
• Experience with Testing or Test-Driven Development (TDD), Clean Code, and SOLID Principles.
• Familiarity with Hexagonal Architecture or Clean Architecture Patterns.
• Design experience using REST APIs (e.g., microservices).

Education and Certification Requirements: An MSc in a related field is a plus but not mandatory. Candidates with degrees in Computer Science, Math, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
