The Senior Software Engineer candidate will be responsible for developing new software products and enhancing existing ones, focusing on large-scale applications and frameworks. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication and leadership skills, demonstrating a self-motivated, multi-tasking, and team-oriented approach.
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code.
- Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements.
- Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure projects meet business objectives and compliance standards.
- Support testing and deployment of new products and features.
- Participate in code reviews.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of containerization, experienced in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiar with API gateway integrations such as 3Scale.
- Knowledge of Single-Sign-On or token-based authentication (Rest, JWT, OAuth).
- Expert knowledge of task/message queues including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka.
- Experience in coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards.
- Background in banking, financial, or fintech in an enterprise environment preferred.
- Experience in Agile methodology.
- Ability to ensure the quality of technical and application architecture and design across the organization.
- Self-motivator and self-starter, capable of driving initiatives without supervision.
- Excellent soft skills and interpersonal skills to interact with and present ideas to Senior and Executive management.
