Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of business areas and various components in the tech stack.
- Take ownership of, architect, build, and scale critical business services.
- Engage in continuous self-improvement and enhance team dynamics.
- Participate in a DevOps/agile environment, covering the full lifecycle from design to support.
- Design and develop REST APIs for both internal and external use.
- Maintain and develop full-stack application code.
- Create unit tests for continuous integration.
- Implement best practices for coding and development processes.
- Collaborate effectively across project and product management teams.
Qualifications:
- MSc/BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role is preferred; professional certifications are a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical solutions to end-users.
- Proficient in Python and C programming languages, with a desire to learn and grow in development.
- Familiarity with software revision control tools like Git.
- Understanding of distributed computing principles and experience integrating data from multiple sources.
- Competence in SQL and NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
- Ability to work in a large interdisciplinary team, modeling complex engineering problems.
