Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, and backend engineering to join our Digital Products engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing and developing scalable, high-performance RESTful APIs, distributed services, and enterprise-grade backend applications. The role requires strong expertise in Node.js development, API integrations, performance optimization, testing practices, and modern cloud-native engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs using Node.js technologies.
• Build highly available, secure, and performance-oriented backend services supporting enterprise digital platforms.
• Develop and maintain API integrations, microservices, and distributed service architectures.
• Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
• Perform performance tuning, debugging, monitoring, and optimization of backend applications.
• Collaborate with architects, product teams, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on coding experience with Node.js and JavaScript.
• Strong expertise in Node.js backend development frameworks.
• Strong experience designing and developing scalable RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript (minimum 1 year).
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and backend application architecture.

Education
