As a Senior Software Engineer at Mozn, you will play a crucial role in developing next-generation technologies for fraud detection and prevention. You will contribute to a high-performance Software as a Service (SaaS) platform capable of processing large volumes of transactions per second.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and enhance high-performance software components.
- Write clean and maintainable code while conducting peer code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Participate in a full lifecycle and full-stack DevOps/Agile team, involving design, development, testing, planning, backlog grooming, and support activities.
- Develop unit tests for a continuous integration environment.
- Identify and implement best practices for coding and development processes.
- Work independently as a trusted contributor, meeting deadlines and exceeding goals.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Management, and other team professionals.
- Engage in self-reflection for personal growth and collective team effectiveness.
Requirements:
- MSc/BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role preferred; professional certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience in fraud prevention or fintech is a plus.
- Excellent bilingual verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid experience with the Go programming language is essential.
- Hands-on experience with concurrency, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and software revision control tools (Git).
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Postgres, Redis) and an understanding of distributed computing principles.
- Ability to explain complex system issues and learn new coding languages as needed.
- Ability to work with a large interdisciplinary team on complex engineering problems.
