As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Work alongside your cross-functional team (engineering, product, data) to continuously discover customer and business needs.
- Design, write, and release software solutions to end-to-end problems in your business domain, delivering value in small batches.
- Own and innovate the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), understanding the scalability and complexity of your services.
- Mentor and inspire other engineers, optimizing your team’s practices to develop a self-organized and continuously improving unit.
- Critically assess and simplify our technical organization’s systems, processes, and solutions.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Empathy and a strong ability to build relationships.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- A humble, curious, and open-minded approach with a growth mindset, thriving on continuous feedback.
- Understanding of lean/agile values and principles with relevant practices.
- Ability to mentor other engineers.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in an Extreme Programming environment (TDD, Pair Programming, Simple Design, Continuous Refactoring).
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages, with a focus on .NET, Golang, and C#.
- Experience in distributed systems architecture (Microservices, Event-Driven, RESTful Services).
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Experience with Trunk Based Development and Continuous Delivery.
Language Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
