Responsibilities
- Own and innovate the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for your specific area or initiative.
- Participate in ongoing discovery to understand customer/business needs and drive desired outcomes.
- Design, write, and release software that addresses end-to-end problems in your business domain in line with engineering standards.
- Understand scalability and complexity of services to optimize systems and processes.
- Mentor fellow engineers to foster a self-organized and continuously improving development unit.
- Critically analyze and simplify existing tech organization systems and processes.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following experience:
- Strong ability to build relationships with empathy and effective communication skills.
- A humble, curious, and open-minded attitude with a growth mindset, thriving on feedback.
- Good understanding of lean/agile values, principles, and associated practices.
- Experience mentoring other engineers.
- A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, preferably in an Extreme Programming environment (e.g., TDD, Pair Programming, Simple Design, Continuous Refactoring) with a focus on .NET, Golang, and C#.
- Proficient in automated end-to-end testing.
- Familiarity with Distributed Systems Architecture, including Microservices, Event-Driven, and RESTful Services.
- Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases.
- Exposed to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience with Trunk Based Development and Continuous Delivery methodologies.
