In this role, you will collaborate with backend and frontend engineers, the QA team, the design team, and your Tech Team Leads. You will be responsible for advancing the development stack to ensure scalability as the user base grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain a deep understanding of the code base and technologies within weeks.
- Lead planning sessions for new product features and manage roll-out/roll-back strategies.
- Research and implement industry trends.
- Write and maintain high-quality code following established programming practices.
- Develop unit tests and contribute to post-release maintenance.
- Design and deliver RESTful APIs and have exposure to Service Oriented Architecture.
- Mentor peers and conduct code reviews.
- Manage the entire software development life cycle.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional backend software engineering experience with Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker is preferred.
- Familiarity with high-traffic and large-scale web products.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, caching strategies, and testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
