We are looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer who has high agency and a "Get Stuff Done" mindset, with a passion for decentralized innovation. As a core contributor to our engineering ecosystem, you will design, develop, and optimize the smart contracts and underlying blockchain infrastructure that powers the company. This role calls for a sophisticated problem-solver who can navigate the rapidly evolving crypto landscape while executing securely at scale. Working directly with our CPO, product leads, and world-class engineers, your commitment to open-source excellence will keep the company at the cutting edge of DeFi.

Responsibilities:

• Architecture & Scalability: Design and optimize robust blockchain product architecture with a focus on scalability, security, and peak performance.
• Smart Contract Lifecycle: Lead the development, integration, and internal auditing of high-value smart contracts across decentralized protocols.
• R&D and PoCs: Conduct advanced technical research and execute proof-of-concept experiments to pioneer new features within the DeFi space.
• Cross-Chain Innovation: Design and evolve cross-chain interoperability solutions, including atomic swaps and advanced bridging infrastructure.
• Gas Optimization: Focus on execution efficiency, designing algorithms for gas preservation and low-latency performance.
• Security & Audit Collaboration: Analyze attack vectors and collaborate with external auditors for flawless product launches.
• Engineering Excellence: Champion rigorous code reviews, build effective CI/CD pipelines for Web3, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:

• Proven Footprint: 7+ years in software development, with a minimum of 3+ years in production-grade blockchain engineering.
• EVM Mastery: Deep understanding of the Ethereum ecosystem, smart contracts (Solidity, Yul), and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Scaling & Infrastructure: Experience deploying to Layer 2 solutions (Optimistic & ZK Rollups) and managing cross-chain architecture.
• Technical Leadership: Proven track record in owning architectural decisions and guiding development teams.
• Security Focus: Expertise in smart contract security principles, vulnerability mitigation, and the auditing process.

Skills:

• Languages: Proficiency in Solidity, Yul, and TypeScript; experience with Rust is a strong advantage.
• Frameworks: Mastery of smart contract development workflows, especially Foundry and Hardhat.
• DeFi Domain: Advanced understanding of AMMs, liquidity pools, complex mathematical models, and oracle integrations (e.g., Chainlink).
• Systems: Background in building high-performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
