Our Exchange team is responsible for the trading backend services, including the matching engine, market data gateways, internal and external APIs, and margin systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain core framework and key software components for the trading engine.
- Design solutions that mitigate risk and implement security to protect systems and data.
- Improve site performance by designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability applications.
- Construct dynamically scalable platforms capable of heavy transaction volume.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve product roadmap goals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders on a distributed team.
Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in modern C++.
- Prior experience in Linux, distributed and/or highly-concurrent systems, and low-latency/high-volume transaction environments.
- High-level proficiency in Python, Rust, and SQL is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of trading systems and financial products.
- Proactive mindset with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field is preferred.
Language Requirements: Multilingual environment – employees speak over 50 languages.
