Job Responsibilities:
- Build, extend, optimize, and maintain a reconciliation platform.
- Provide first-line technical support to business users of the software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams for effective solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and user manuals.
- Assist in software updates and patches.
- Train and guide users on using the Corona software effectively.
Development Responsibilities:

Core Reconciliation Logic Development:
- Design algorithms for data matching and reconciliation.
- Automate data cleansing for accuracy.

Data Integration and Processing:
- Build connectors for data from external systems.
- Optimize data ingestion for real-time processing.

Backend Development:
- Develop backend services for reconciliation workflows using languages like Java, Python, or C#.

Performance Optimization:
- Enhance application performance for high-volume transactions through indexing and caching.

Automation and Exception Handling:
- Automate reconciliation tasks and implement workflows for exception management.

Security and Compliance:
- Develop features to protect sensitive financial data and ensure regulatory compliance.

Integration with SmartStream Products:
- Customize and extend Corona’s functionality tailored to client needs.

Reporting and Analytics:
- Develop tools for insight into reconciliation results and performance.

Testing and Debugging:
- Write tests to ensure reliability and resolve application issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience with SmartStream's Corona software.
Skills Required:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
