Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver web-based systems and SaaS solutions
- Provide insights into the Canonical workplace experience
- Enable new processes and improve existing workflows
- Collaborate proactively with a distributed team
- Write high-quality code for new features and debug existing issues
- Conduct consistent code reviews for other engineers
- Estimate work, set goals, and meet project completion criteria
- Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to junior team members
- Connect to various data sources and create insightful visualizations
- Design architecture for connected systems

Who You Are:
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in two or more of the following:
- Backend web service programming in Python and Node.js
- Understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Data analytics, statistical analysis, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, and machine learning
- Data visualization
