About the Job:
The position involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications utilizing AI-based code generation tools. This role requires close collaboration with the Software Engineering Chapter to optimize development and unit testing for efficiency. The Software Engineer will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software, streamline workflows through AI-driven automation, and oversee peer reviews during the release process.
Main Objective of Role:
To ensure efficient delivery of high-performance software applications while maintaining collaboration and adherence to best coding practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance software applications based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create solutions using a ‘Microservice/Micro frontend’ architecture, adopting functional programming styles while following ‘DevOps/GitOps’ practices.
- Develop solutions for hybrid cloud, distributed, scalable, and multi-region deployments, ensuring traceability and observability.
- Utilize AI-powered tools for code generation, debugging, and unit testing automation.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, contributing to the analysis of application requirements during technical design.
- Identify inefficiencies in solution development practices and propose actionable solutions.
- Ensure performance, edge cases, and security considerations are addressed during software development and pre-release.
- Debug complex code, ensuring optimization and adherence to design documents.
- Conduct peer reviews of code to maintain adherence to coding principles and best practices.
- Automate unit tests while addressing issues and defects of moderate to high complexity.
- Collaborate with the QA team to develop AI-driven testing frameworks for automated intelligent test cases.
- Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and integrate best practices into the development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience.
- Fluent in English.
