Senior Software Engineer - IT (Mobile app)

The main objective of this role is to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using AI-based code generation tools. The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with the Software Engineering Chapter to optimize the development and unit testing process and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and streamline workflows through AI-driven automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance software applications.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into effective technical designs and solutions.
• Develop solutions following a ‘Microservice/Micro frontend’ architecture with functional programming styles and adhere to ‘DevOps/GitOps’ practices.
• Create solutions for hybrid cloud, distributed, scalable, and multi-region deployments, ensuring traceability and observability.
• Utilize AI-powered tools for code generation, debugging, and unit testing automation.
• Interpret business requirements into feasible technical solutions based on best practice coding principles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in the technical design process and contribute to the analysis of application requirements.
• Support design and architecture components and identify inefficiencies in solution development.
• Debug complex code and optimize efficiency and performance while adhering to design specifications.
• Conduct peer reviews of all code with attention to good coding principles and best practices.
• Automate unit tests and independently troubleshoot issues and fix complex defects.
• Work with the QA team to develop AI-driven testing frameworks for automated test case generation.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and integrate best practices into the development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Fluent in English.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.

ISR Requirements:

• Complies with the ISR policies of the Company and reports any weaknesses or incidents to the Line Manager or Information Security team.
