Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Spring Boot services in Java/Kotlin
  • Build and support API integrations across internal and external telecom systems
  • Work with asynchronous/event-driven flows and related messaging patterns
  • Improve reliability, performance, and observability of existing backend services
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship production-ready features

Core Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Spring Boot and backend API development
  • Solid Java and/or Kotlin backend development skills
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, SQL databases, and distributed systems fundamentals
  • Familiarity with asynchronous processing and event-driven integration patterns
  • Comfortable with debugging, writing tests, and working in CI/CD + Git workflows
  • Ability to work effectively in existing/legacy codebases while delivering new features safely
  • Familiarity with AWS
  • Proficient in using AI-based development tools as appropriate

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of telecommunications protocols (Gx/Gy/DIAMETER, SMPP)
  • OAuth2/OIDC and token-based authentication flows
  • API-first development with OpenAPI/Swagger (including codegen workflows)
  • Experience with MariaDB, JPA/Hibernate, and Liquibase migrations
  • Exposure to containerized deployments and cloud environments (Docker/Jib, Kubernetes basics)
  • Familiarity with GoLang, Python, Perl, and GCP
