Position

We have an immediate vacancy for a Senior Software Engineer (Kronos) with 5 years of experience at Synechron in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a skilled Kronos Engineer to provide expert-level support, advanced troubleshooting, and technical enhancements for our Kronos Workforce platform (Workforce Central or Dimensions).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the final escalation point (L3) for complex Kronos issues, analyzing and resolving advanced technical problems, including custom pay rules, interface failures, and system performance.
  • Ensure system uptime, lead incident resolution efforts, conduct root cause analysis, and contribute to knowledge sharing across support tiers.
  • Configure and maintain advanced Kronos system components, including delegation rules, workflows, dynamic email/notification templates, and custom reports with tailored user roles and permissions.
  • Develop custom queries using SQL and Workforce Integration Manager to support reporting, automation, and data validation.
  • Design, test, and maintain APIs and web services to facilitate integration between Kronos and various systems such as HRMS, Payroll (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle), and external scheduling tools.
  • Monitor and support middleware tools like Dell Boomi and MuleSoft to ensure efficient interface operations with Kronos.
  • Participate in Kronos version upgrades, conduct patch testing, and perform regression testing to ensure system stability and compatibility.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Deep expertise in Kronos Workforce Central or Kronos Dimensions.
  • Proficiency in:
    • Kronos APIs (REST/SOAP)
    • Kronos WIM (Workforce Integration Manager)
    • Custom query development and data exports
    • Advanced email/notification scripting
    • Delegation logic and routing configuration
  • Core understanding of cyber security rules and mitigations.
  • Experience with:
    • SQL and relational databases
    • Reporting tools (e.g., Kronos Analytics, Crystal Reports)
    • REST APIs using Java/Node
    • Postman
    • SFTP/secure data transfer protocols
  • Familiarity with Agile or ITSM tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Remedy).
