Product Engineering - It is a Software Engineering portfolio under Emirates Group where we are hiring talented software engineers to develop and support a host of software applications that powers the growth of Emirates Airlines and group with business interest spanning from Passenger services, Airport/ground operations, Crew & Network Operations, Air Cargo Sales and operations, Holiday and Leisure products and services at global scale. Software is at the core to support this diverse, large, and complex business operations which are built using latest and modern technology stack including Cloud EPM, TPF/ALCS, ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS, Java Microservices, .Net, Python, Oracle, SalesForce, Oracle ERP (EBS and Fusion) suite etc. following the best industry practices.

The Senior Software Engineer - Oracle Fusion is a fully participating member of an agile feature team working independently on software development and problem resolution. The role involves technical design, software development, implementation and maintenance software solutions/products that support the Emirates Group Business.

Your main responsibilities:

• Work with senior technical engineers in the technical design process by contributing in the analysis of technical application requirements.
• Convert technical solutions for small to medium-sized initiatives into low-level design and working code.
• Independently write secure and optimized code through implementation of Emirates Group approved coding standards.
• Be part of the rotational on-call support and actively participate in resolving production issues within SLAs with minimal or no active supervision.
• Accountable for built-in quality and ensuring 100% unit testing as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
• Analyze and fix all identified defects with minimal rework
• Ensure refactoring practices are adequately adopted to ensure minimum code debt.
• Ensure logging and monitoring hooks are implemented as part of the code development.
• Continuously stay up to date in the relevant technologies and implement the learnings to enhance the code quality.
• Adhere to the Emirates Group IT coding standards, guidelines and best practices and contribute to Software Engineering Playbooks and other Standards documents.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Techno-functional consultancy expertise in HCM, SCM, or Finance module
• Preferred Certification in Oracle Fusion
• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) Experience in Information Technology/Others - Software Engineering experience, preferably in agile ways of working
• Experience as an Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant working with various technologies such as Oracle, SQL, PLSQL, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), XML Publisher and Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).

Knowledge/Skills

• Design & Develop software in an enterprise environment

• Solid understanding of Testing concepts such as unit testing, functional testing, and test automation

• Resolving a variety of issues using technical expertise

• System design tools as well as experience using technologies listed above

• Design, Code, and Maintain medium to large applications/Modules

• Strong Agile Software Development Skills

• Strong Systems Analytical and Technical Design skills

• Experience in working with a range of technologies specific to Oracle Fusion - Techno-functional consultancy expertise in HCM, SCM, or Finance
