Join a newly formed team as the first engineer focused on embedding privacy-enhancing technologies within the Chainlink product stack. This role involves developing off-chain and on-chain privacy solutions to strengthen the Chainlink runtime Environment, ensuring robust implementations to protect consumers and enable new privacy-reliant use cases. Our approach emphasizes pragmatic, battle-tested protocols that meet the privacy requirements of a diverse customer base, from DeFi protocols to regulated financial institutions. Experience with technologies such as Privacy Pools, Zero Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs), Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), and Stealth Addresses will be beneficial.
Your Impact:
- Spearhead the development of groundbreaking privacy features within the Chainlink Runtime Environment.
- Directly contribute to the 12-month roadmap and innovative architectural designs.
- Ensure forward-thinking solutions are prepared for implementation.
- Lead critical architectural design initiatives that create scalable and secure systems.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to integrate privacy technologies across Chainlink's platforms.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Familiarity and experience working with privacy-preserving technologies and/or cryptography.
- Experience with blockchains or distributed ledgers.
- Professional experience with large distributed systems.
- Experience working with Trusted Execution Environments (e.g., SGX, AWS Nitro, GCP Confidential Compute).
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with GO, Rust, or familiarity with WASM.
- Proven product-focused engineering and customer empathy.
- Experience in traditional banking or finance systems is a plus.
- Experience writing production smart contracts in the EVM ecosystem is a plus.
Language Requirements:
