Senior Software Engineer - React Native - Payments

About the Job: Join the company's growing Payments & Blockchain team as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on our payments systems. Your main responsibility will be to protect client funds by building systems that communicate with various blockchains for timely transaction processing, ensuring the safety and security of all funds on the exchange.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality payment processing systems using React.js and other relevant technologies.
• Build and refine seamless transaction experiences that optimize fund transfers for speed, security, and reliability.
• Ensure an efficient onboarding experience for users interacting with payment systems.
• Develop features that enhance engagement, retention, and loyalty within the payments ecosystem.
• Lead the development of complex financial software systems with a focus on high-quality and secure code.
• Contribute to strategy discussions and shape product decisions with a strong understanding of financial systems and security.
• Mentor engineers and drive process improvements in financial software development.
• Ensure compliance and security best practices in scalable financial systems.

Skills Required:

• 6+ years of software development experience, focusing on web and mobile applications.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and proficiency in React Native frameworks.
• Strong experience with API design, security, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Next.js, WebSockets, and frontend testing frameworks.
• Understanding of UI/UX best practices and principles.
• Experience in consumer payments, crypto, or fintech mobile applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with availability during EU afternoons.

Nice to Haves:

• Familiarity with native mobile app development (iOS/Android).
• Knowledge of the cryptocurrency industry and blockchain technology.
