Senior Software Engineer - Rust - Onchain

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a small, skilled team responsible for building high-quality enhancements and introducing new onchain utilities to the company's offerings. You will take significant ownership of technical decisions and work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Smart Contract, DevOps, and Frontend Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust Rust services.
• Collaborate on seamless integration of new features and improvements.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Compose technical specifications through RFCs and manage feature development from inception to deployment.
• Contribute to large-scale distributed systems architecture.
• Integrate third-party APIs and multiple blockchain networks into our products.
• Engage with onchain data.

Skills You Should HODL:

• 5+ years of engineering experience, ideally in a tech organization or startup.
• Extensive experience with Rust development (5+ years).
• Background in blockchain technology and DeFi.
• Security-first mindset in system design.
• Proficiency in debugging across the stack (OS, network, application).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, RPC protocols, Kafka, and Event-Driven Systems.
• Experience with GraphQL, SQL, RESTful APIs, and WebSockets.
• Mentorship capabilities for other engineers and contribution to defining technical culture.
• Deep knowledge of one or more blockchain ecosystems (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana).
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
