As part of TII’s Artificial Intelligence Research Center, the Extreme-Scale Language Model team is engaged in developing and implementing innovative deep learning technologies applicable to various domains, including Natural Language Processing, Perception, and Vision. This team has been responsible for the development of the Falcon models and is poised to continue its journey into cutting-edge applied research in large language models.
Responsibilities:
- Build products and MVPs leveraging the models.
- Fine-tune models for domain-specific applications.
- Design evaluation pipelines and benchmarks for optimized models.
- Develop and maintain product backends and front-end interfaces to showcase model capabilities.
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to transition models from lab to market-ready products.
- Translate product requirements into model capabilities and technical specifications.
- Optimize model performance and user experience.
Requirements:
- Strong coding skills in Python and machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
- Hands-on experience in fine-tuning large models.
- Knowledge of techniques like LoRA, prompt tuning, RLHF, or similar methods.
- Experience with cloud and GPU environments, Docker/Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with backend and frontend development frameworks.
- Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in applied AI software development.
