As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a multi-tasker, and a demonstrated team player. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code.
  • Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure projects meet business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Support testing and deployment of new products and features.
  • Participate in code reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of containerization; experienced with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with API gateway integrations such as 3Scale.
  • Knowledge of Single-Sign-On or token-based authentication (Rest, JWT, OAuth).
  • Expertise in task/message queues including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka.
  • Experience following best coding, security, unit testing, and documentation standards and practices.
  • Preferred experience in Banking, Financial, and Fintech sectors within an enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Ability to ensure quality of technical and application architecture and design of systems across the organization.
  • Proficient in researching and benchmarking technology against best-in-class technologies.
  • Self-motivator with the ability to independently drive projects and collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Strong soft skills and interpersonal skills to interact and present ideas to senior and executive management.
