About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of industry-leading AI software using cutting-edge research breakthroughs. This role entails designing, implementing, launching, and maintaining code in an innovative fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure for advanced AI systems, including Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), data pipelines, and databases.
Your tasks will include:
- End-to-end ownership of features from conception to launch.
- Prototyping, experimenting, comprehending search quality, and maintaining signals, models, and infrastructure.
- Analyzing performance and usability metrics to improve software and infrastructure.
- Collaborating with domain experts, UX designers, and project managers to translate organizational needs into technical solutions.
About You
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 4 years of experience with AI, data structures, or algorithms.
- Hands-on experience in fine-tuning and deploying generative LLMs using TensorFlow and/or PyTorch frameworks (mandatory).
- Experience in developing RAG models integrated with vector databases to power conversational AI products (mandatory).
- In-depth understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP), LLMs, Generative AI, and RAG workflows (mandatory).
- Familiarity with external and open-source tech stacks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 6+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
- Strong design and implementation skills with a commitment to solving complex issues.
- Passion for quality, customer focus, and a willingness to innovate outside of your core role.
- Ability to design and implement new products/systems from the ground up.
