As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will lead the Marketplace Matching team, which is responsible for optimally matching mobility supply and demand across the company's Rides, Food, Groceries, and Express verticals. You will collaborate with other engineering leaders and manage a team of talented engineers to innovate and execute on the product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of high-quality services, including design, development, and deployment of new functionalities.
- Enhance team processes for effective and efficient delivery.
- Collaborate with product managers and data scientists.
- Allocate resources to meet operating objectives and improve cross-departmental processes.
- Assist teams in developing growth roadmaps and execute supporting projects.
- Coach developers to improve their skills and career progression.
- Solve large-scale engineering challenges.
- Encourage accountability and responsibility within your team.
Qualifications:
- Strong software engineering skills with competencies in data structures, algorithms, software design, and OOP.
- Working knowledge of Java, GO, Python, or Kotlin.
- Deep understanding of building scalable distributed systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Several years in an engineering management role.
- Relevant experience in logistics marketplace matching.
Work Conditions:
Full-time, 4 days a week in office & 1 day from home; ability to work remotely from any country for 30 days a year; unlimited vacation days.
