Senior Software QA Engineer

About the Job:

This position is for a Senior Software QA Engineer located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, offering a hybrid work environment and a full-time schedule. The role involves designing, maintaining, and executing both manual and automated test cases for sanity, regression testing, and end-to-end tests for web applications, including UI and REST APIs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases for sanity, regression testing, and end-to-end tests for web applications (UI and REST APIs).
• Develop automated tests using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium Webdriver, TestNG, Junit, RestAssured).
• Report and verify bugs.
• Analyze and report on regression runs.
• Design, maintain, and execute non-functional tests utilizing JMeter.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• 7+ years of industry experience in testing distributed systems and SaaS software.
• Proficiency in testing web services or REST APIs from code or utilizing tools like SoapUI/Postman.
• Strong background in HL7 FHIR conformance testing is advantageous.
• Proven automation/scripting expertise using Java (e.g., Selenium/TestNG/Junit, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with performance and scale testing tools such as JMeter is a plus.
• Experience with code management and version control software (e.g., Git, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Solid knowledge in SQL (Oracle, MS-SQL) and MongoDB.
