Position

We are seeking a Solution Architect with strong pre‑sales and solution‑shaping experience to lead the definition, positioning, and articulation of enterprise‑grade digital, data, and AI solutions during the sales and pursuit lifecycle. This role focuses on translating customer business challenges into compelling, feasible, and differentiated solution architectures. The Solution Architect works closely with sales, business development, delivery leaders, and technical architects to ensure proposed solutions are commercially viable, technically sound, and aligned with delivery capabilities. The role requires strong communication skills, customer engagement experience, and the ability to balance innovation with pragmatism across architecture, cost, risk, and delivery considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end‑to‑end solution architecture during the pre‑sales lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through proposal and customer presentation.
  • Translate customer business requirements, constraints, and success metrics into high‑level solution architectures.
  • Define solution scope, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints in collaboration with sales and delivery teams.
  • Ensure alignment between business outcomes, technical approach, and commercial structure.
  • Produce functional and technical architecture covering:
    • Application and platform architecture
    • Data, analytics, and AI solution approaches
    • Integration patterns and APIs
    • Infrastructure (cloud, hybrid, on‑premise where applicable)
    • Security and compliance considerations
  • Select and position appropriate technologies, platforms, and services aligned with customer context and enterprise standards.
  • Support effort estimation, cost modelling, and pricing inputs in collaboration with delivery and finance teams.
  • Identify technical risks, assumptions, and mitigation strategies early in the sales cycle.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, engaging effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, pre‑sales architecture, or senior technical consulting roles.
  • Strong experience working within sales or bid environments, supporting opportunities from shaping to closure.
  • Proven ability to design and present enterprise‑grade solutions across digital, data, cloud, and AI domains.
  • Solid experience with:
    • Data centre and air-gapped environment
    • Cloud and hybrid infrastructure architectures
    • Enterprise integration patterns and APIs
    • Data platforms and analytics solutions
    • AI/ML solutions at an architectural or solution‑delivery level
