Senior Solution Architect - Integration

As a Senior Solution Architect - Integration, you will play a crucial role in leading the architecture of integration and API layers across the platform. Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract
Work Conditions: Full-time; On-site required in Riyadh with some remote flexibility for candidates in Jordan, Lebanon, UAE, and Egypt—regular travel to Riyadh is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define integration architecture strategy aligned with organisational goals.
• Establish API standards and versioning strategies.
• Design and govern API gateway infrastructure and policies.
• Architect event-driven and message-based integration patterns.
• Lead technical design reviews and make key architectural decisions.
• Mentor engineering teams and support capability development in integration practices.
• Produce and maintain integration architecture documentation and models.

Expectations:

• Deliver a coherent and consistent API and integration ecosystem.
• Improve reliability and observability across integration points.
• Facilitate collaborative design sessions across engineering, product, and operations.
• Communicate complex integration and API concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Technical Skills Required:

• Core technologies: Apigee, NodeJS
• Expertise in RESTful API design, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of security, performance, and distributed systems.
