Senior Solution Architect

AIQ, an Abu Dhabi-based joint venture between Presight and ADNOC, focuses on developing artificial intelligence technologies and products tailored for the energy sector. The company aims to provide end-to-end solutions by leveraging its data, cloud infrastructure, and talent to develop AI solutions that drive cost reductions and revenue generation for clients. AIQ is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to define the architectural vision and influence strategic decisions across platforms. The role includes mentoring engineers, resolving system-wide dependencies, and creating scalable, reusable designs.

Responsibilities:

• Define the architectural vision
• Anticipate and research strategic issues (buy vs. build)
• Participate in system design and identify opportunities for reuse
• Resolve overarching dependencies
• Oversee training and mentoring for engineers
• Support and assist engineers in their activities

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computing, or a related field
• Experience: 8-10 years of technical experience
• Skills:
  • Strong experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS)
  • Extensive software development experience using Node, Java, or .NET
  • Industry experience in the oil and gas domain is a strong plus
  • Proven ability to influence large enterprises or thrive in a startup culture
  • Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities
