Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical sales process from introductory meetings through post-sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, upselling, and subscription renewals.
- Support customers in discovering new use cases for the company’s technology and design solutions based on reference architectures and common patterns.
- Demonstrate the company products to inspire customer confidence.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to showcase the value of the company solutions.
- Present product roadmaps and engage customers in strategic thinking.
- Coordinate with other the company teams to provide a unified customer experience.
- Advocate for customer needs to Product Management and Engineering.
- Participate in external publicity and evangelism activities such as conferences, meetups, webinars, and blogs.
- Achieve team goals aligned to annual sales targets and contribute to knowledge exchange within the community.
Qualifications:
- Passion for utilizing technology to impact organizations positively.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a pre-sales context.
- Strong technical presentation and demonstration skills.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Big Data, Data Warehousing, or Relational Databases.
- Knowledge of at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP); formal certification is a plus.
- Understanding of Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, Operations, Security, and Data Governance within enterprises.
- Unix or Linux experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and curiosity to discover.
- A four-year degree (Bachelor's) from an accredited university is required.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
