In this role, you will engage directly with customers, understanding their needs and helping them gain a competitive edge using AWS. As an experienced technologist and a key member of the Account team, you will influence customers' architectural choices across various use cases involving security, compute, storage, networking, as well as advanced scenarios related to serverless computing, analytics, and AI/ML.
You will provide exceptional technical design guidance and thought leadership, leading efforts to capture and share best practices with the AWS solutions architect community. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn from, collaborate with, and educate some of the most talented technical minds in the industry today.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and deliver strategies to build mind share and broaden the use of AWS within large enterprises.
- Own technical engagement and drive the success of specific implementation projects while facilitating widespread adoption of AWS.
- Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad knowledge of application and service constructions using the AWS platform.
- Engage effectively with customers and drive discussions on trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation.
- Exhibit strategic thinking regarding business, product, and technical challenges.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting with applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting within the software or internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
- Proven experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders.
- Experience working in the Enterprise Greenfield space.
