You will provide exceptional technical design guidance and thought leadership, leading efforts to capture and share best practices within the AWS solution architect community. Additionally, you will collaborate with and educate some of the brightest technical minds in the industry across the breadth of enterprise architecture.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon Web Services within large enterprises. Broad responsibilities include:
- Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
- Working cross-organizationally to facilitate widespread use and adoption of the AWS platform.
- Developing deep expertise in AWS technologies and understanding how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.
- Representing AWS within customers’ environments and driving discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation.
- Demonstrating the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure.
- 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.
- Experience working in the Enterprise Greenfield space.
