We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to help propel AMD into a new era of computing in the datacenter. This role involves engaging with key end-users and platform/software partners to showcase the differentiators of AMD technology while addressing business needs in real-world scenarios. You will provide technical support to strategic commercial end-user accounts, collaborating with the commercial sales team and field engineering director. Your responsibilities will also include providing training to teammates and assisting them with their challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate AMD technology across various market verticals.
- Deliver expert-level technical assistance to end-users and support the development of customer solutions.
- Partner with AMD and vendor specialists to create tailored solutions based on customer needs.
- Analyze vendor product solutions and evaluate performance to ensure alignment with customer objectives.
- Conduct technical design sessions and execute evaluations to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered.
- Understand competitive landscapes and communicate AMD's technical advantages effectively.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic.
- Strong expertise in hardware, system architecture, and software.
- Ability to prioritize and work independently as well as within a team.
- Proven success in building strong relationships internally and externally.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in a senior engineering or equivalent technical customer-facing role.
- Knowledge of market verticals such as cloud computing, HPC, software-defined storage, and data analytics.
- Understanding of server and accelerator software ecosystems, including OS, hypervisors, and profiling tools.
- Hands-on experience in setting up server systems, including software and storage infrastructure.
- Familiarity with application profiling, tuning, and performance assessment.
Academic Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred).
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Arabic.
