Senior Solutions Architect (VMware & AI Platform)

The company is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect with deep expertise in VMware technologies, infrastructure modernization, and AI platform enablement to support strategic sales opportunities across the Middle East region. In this presales-focused role, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Solutions, and Delivery teams to design innovative solutions that address customers' datacentre modernization, virtualization, hybrid cloud, disaster recovery, business continuity, and platform transformation requirements. This includes architecting GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS), model inference, and fine-tuning capabilities integrated with VMware and orchestrated through Kubernetes. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers while becoming a recognized subject matter expert within the company for VMware, infrastructure modernization, and AI platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop trusted relationships with client executives and technical stakeholders.
• Lead customer workshops focused on VMware technologies and AI platform strategy.
• Design solutions leveraging VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vSphere, NSX, Tanzu, and complementary technologies.
• Architect AI serving stacks and ensure platform designs include governance and security controls.
• Assess customer requirements and develop solution architectures.
• Lead complex presales engagements and produce high-quality proposals.
• Provide specialist guidance on VMware platforms, AI infrastructure, and transformation roadmaps.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, opportunity, and customer engagement information within Salesforce.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field; or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience designing enterprise infrastructure and VMware-based solutions.
• Strong understanding of datacentre and infrastructure modernization strategies.
• Proven expertise across various VMware technologies.
• Understanding of AI platform architecture and infrastructure operations.
• Demonstrated success solving complex technical challenges.
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills.
