As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be a technical leader in driving growth and adoption of solutions with enterprise customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating and evangelizing products and services through onsite sessions, webinars, and field events.
  • Leading discovery calls and conversations to identify and validate opportunities, independently or with your sales counterpart.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and partners throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
  • Conducting on-site customer engagements, including Proof of Value/Concept demonstrations.
  • Addressing complex technical inquiries and resolving customer concerns to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to continuously improve working practices, processes, and customer success.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in enterprise presales, ideally 5+ years, with a technical focus.
  • Ability to understand complex application environments and machine data sources (logs, security data, network data, etc.).
  • Experience in observability solutions (Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless) and scripting languages (Python, Perl) is a plus.
  • Strong ability to articulate complex technical solutions to customers and partners.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value and improve processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on knowledge of solutions and experience demonstrating their value to enterprise customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with open-source technologies, search engines, and query languages.
  • Ability to thrive in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
