The Pre-Sales Solutions Engineering organization is responsible for the technical sale of the company solution portfolio specifically for KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). This role focuses on ensuring maximal business value, fit-for-purpose solution design, and efficient adoption roadmaps for our customers. As a Solutions Engineer, you will serve as the technical customer advocate and collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Support teams to drive customer success and create scalable solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in understanding and implementing the company’s solution portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer requirements and technical queries.
- Maintain a broad knowledge of Internet performance and security technologies.
- Explain complex technical concepts in an accessible manner to customers.
- Identify customer challenges and collaborate on solutions.
- Provide training and resources to ensure effectiveness in your role.
Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- 3 to 10 years of experience in the IT industry (early to mid-level experience).
- Working proficiency in English and Arabic.
- Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
- Strong empathy towards customers, with aptitude for quickly identifying their challenges.
- Solid understanding of how the Internet works, including knowledge of DNS, TCP/UDP, and firewall roles.
- Familiarity with the competitive landscape in areas such as DDoS, CDN, performance, and security services.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 10-15 days per quarter) for customer meetings and conferences.
- Experience in a pre-sales or consulting role is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
