The Solutions Engineer (SE) role is a dynamic and varied customer-focused technical position. SE's provide technical and cyber defense expertise in pre-sale and post-sales accounts, working together with our Cyber Account Managers to ensure customer needs are met. Due to continued growth, Darktrace is currently expanding its technical team to accommodate a rapidly growing customer base and accelerating revenue.
We are looking for a senior hire who has experience working in pre/post sales roles, ideally within tech markets. You'll receive extensive training and support to further enhance your existing skills in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage pre and post-sale Darktrace deployments along with your sales counterpart.
- Design and document success criteria and business case materials.
- Support responses to RFIs/RFPs.
- Establish yourself as a trusted adviser to our prospects and customers, consulting on cyber security architecture and strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to differentiate us against our competitors.
What We Are Looking For:
This is a senior hire; we welcome applications from candidates that come from a sales engineer or technical account manager background. Candidates should have expertise in on-premise and cloud networking, with strong knowledge in the cybersecurity domain. A demonstrated success in selling, developing, and implementing security operations and technology in large, complex enterprises across a wide range of technology platforms is also essential.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English & Arabic (Essential)
- Experience in a CIRT/SOC environment (Desirable)
- Practical experience with threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) (Desirable)
- Experience with threat hunting (Desirable)
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CEH, Pen Testing, Incident Response (Desirable)
- Cloud Security qualification (Desirable)
- Experience in Operational Technology environments (Desirable)
