The Service Presales Consultant works within Dell Technologies Services (DTS) and leads the IT Transformation services solution definition in close alignment with Services Sales, Services Delivery Teams, and product account teams to position the Dell solution that best meets customer requirements and expected outcomes. IT Transformation services at Dell cover a wide range of technologies and solutions and span across Consulting, Deployment, Residency, Support, and Managed services, all aligned with our product portfolio, including Storage, Data Protection, Servers, Converged/Hyperconverged infrastructure, and Network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead customer presentations and workshops at the senior leadership level, articulating the IT transformational journey in both business value and technology terms, focusing on MultiCloud, Data Center, and Automation/Integration.
  • Support complex accounts and contribute to the sales pursuit strategy by acting as the Services Presales solution owner.
  • Create and review RFP responses, Statements of Work (SOW), risk profiles, and financials.
  • Manage solution development, including solution design and effort estimates.
  • Ensure internal Services Deal Governance to proposals and support deal negotiation and closure.

Essential Requirements:

  • Expert level experience in IT transformation, Multi Cloud solutions, Data Center, Virtualization, Automation, and Data Analytics.
  • Proven experience as a solution lead, pre-sales consultant, or solution architect, with skills in constructing services solutions.
  • Strong understanding of services P&L and cash flow development, risk analysis, and commercial models.
  • Proven track record in client-facing roles with the ability to influence at all levels (up to CxO).
  • Exceptional consulting skills and professional communication abilities in English, with experience working in an international context.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Dell and VMware product portfolio.
  • Understanding of IT cyber security, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud Hyperscale solutions.

Language Requirements:
Professional communication skills in English.
