Senior Specialist Applications

The Senior Specialist Applications is responsible for receiving support requests, diagnosing problems, and working on solutions to ensure smooth operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Installing software, configuring applications/licenses, and resolving login/password issues.
• Creating email accounts and active directories for new users, assigning telephone extensions, and disabling accounts for departing users.
• Ensuring regular application backups and optimizing all applications for peak system performance.
• Assisting with user migration to new or updated software versions while ensuring system integrity during the process.
• Implementing new software to improve troubleshooting capabilities and streamline IT responsiveness.
• Recording employee queries and analyzing the support request database to identify trends and underlying problems.
• Providing statistical data and reports regularly and on an ad-hoc basis for management and key departments.
• Offering enhancement request feedback to IT concerning technology environment and customer needs through defined processes.
• Ensuring the effective and timely resolution of technical customer problems, keeping customers informed of the status of their requests, and updating the service desk on the status of calls and solutions upon completion.
