Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights using statistical and analytical tools to interpret data and identify trends.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design data-driven solutions that meet business requirements and objectives.
- Documentation: Create detailed business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, and use cases, maintaining documentation for data models, processes, and system architecture.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, clearly communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination, monitoring project progress and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and validation of data solutions, ensuring data quality and accuracy by implementing best practices in data management.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, staying updated with the latest trends in Big Data Analytics and AI.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a data-centric environment, with experience working in Big Data Analytics and AI projects.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools - Good to have.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) - Must have.
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) - preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies - preferred.
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or related fields - preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
