Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand business needs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Conduct detailed requirement gathering across subsystems such as BMS, EMS, CCTV, Access Control, and Fire Alarm Systems.
  • Translate complex integration needs (BACnet, Modbus, REST APIs, etc.) into functional requirements for development and data engineering teams.
  • Maintain and refine Use Case Matrix, Process Maps, Business Rules, and Acceptance Criteria for ICCC and Digital Twin modules.
  • Lead structured onboarding sessions with subsystem vendors, ensuring all technical pre-requisites are captured using standardized templates.
  • Drive consistency in data extraction formats, protocols, and access methods.
  • Ensure all third-party integrations meet platform security, data quality, and availability standards.
  • Collaborate with system architects and partners to design end-to-end IoT and BMS integration and solution frameworks.
  • Define data acquisition strategies, communication protocols, and sensor interoperability standards.
  • Support selection and evaluation of IoT devices, gateways, and platforms for real-time monitoring and automation.
  • Define requirements for predictive analytics models to forecast equipment failures and optimize maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to interpret sensor data and develop actionable maintenance insights.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, coordination, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
  • Define KPIs, dashboards, and performance monitoring frameworks for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and local regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate UAT across internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Own the traceability matrix linking requirements to test cases and business outcomes.
  • Assist in training planning and documentation handover to operations teams.
  • Comply with Quality, Health, Safety and Environment policies and related risk assessments.

Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in smart infrastructure, smart buildings, or data center operations.
  • Experience in system integration projects involving OT systems (BMS, CCTV, ACS, Fire Alarm).
  • Familiarity with protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, REST/HTTP APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum, writing User Stories, and managing JIRA boards.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-hosted applications, ideally in Azure.
  • Proficiency in creating process maps, data flow diagrams, and business impact analyses.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills for multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Prior experience in UAT planning, vendor onboarding, and phased project rollout is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Digital Twin platforms, 3D modeling, or BIM-based systems.
  • Previous experience with cloud-native IoT platforms (e.g., Azure IoT, Kafka, AKS).
  • Certification in CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900).
