We are seeking a growth-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The role involves analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Drive awareness of requirements across business units and evaluate data to identify substandard systems processes.
- Serve as a thought leader for technical business processes and develop systems prototypes to enhance efficiency.
- Create and implement management plans for projects, ensuring transparent communication at all levels.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance throughout all stages of systems development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop analyses and documentation, ensuring effective communication across teams.
- Evaluate and maintain system processes, delivering monthly status reports.
- Author and update internal/external documentation and initiate requirements delivery.
- Conduct daily systems analytics and troubleshoot problems.
- Develop relationships for optimized systems integration and provide research-supported recommendations.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on energy & utility pre-sales and delivery, ensuring accurate capture of sector-specific requirements.
- Understand electricity and water demand and contribute to the design and validation of demos and use cases.
- Support evaluation of compliance, efficiency, and sustainability requirements in Abu Dhabi’s power and water sector.
- Comply with QHSE and other policies related to governance.
Qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience in analytics and systems development.
- Proven analytical abilities and experience in generating process documentation and reports.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Solid background in power systems planning or operations, with experience in utilities or energy sector projects.
- Proficiency in interpreting sector data sets and translating them into actionable requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science.
- Proven project management and user testing abilities.
- CBAP certification is desirable.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Kibana, etc.
- High proficiency in technical writing and experience in utility/energy companies.
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering, energy systems, or related discipline is a plus.
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi and UAE energy-water regulatory frameworks and Net Zero 2050 initiatives is beneficial.
