The Opportunity:
The Senior Specialist - Business Analysis will analyze business needs, gather requirements, and ensure data-driven solutions align with business objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, an understanding of data science and AI principles, and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering: Work with stakeholders to document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets, utilizing statistical and analytical tools to derive actionable insights and identify trends.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design data-driven solutions that meet business needs.
- Documentation: Create detailed business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, and use cases.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, translating complex concepts into clear language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating projects, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and validation of data solutions, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and stay updated with trends in Big Data Analytics and AI.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred.
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a data-centric environment; experience in Big Data Analytics and AI projects is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R or other data analysis tools (good to have); experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is required.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is preferable.
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Certifications: Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or related fields is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and project management skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
