Responsibilities:
- Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques while providing ongoing reports.
- Identify and define new process improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and analytical strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Work with IT and data owners to understand the types of data collected in various databases and data warehouses.
- Comply with QHSE, Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance, and Governance policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7-8 years of proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
- Technical expertise in big data modeling, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and data visualization.
- Proficiency in SQL, Spark/Hive SQL, Python, R, or similar data analysis tools.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Familiarity with ELK is a plus.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for data analysis.
- Proficiency in cloud technology is recommended.
- Open and flexible to travel to customer locations as needed.
